How do I measure myself for a men’s kurta?

Measure the fullest chest, natural shoulders, sleeve length, waist, hips, neck and full length from the high shoulder point, then compare them with the product-specific size chart.

Can I use my shirt size to choose a kurta?

A shirt size is only a starting point because kurtas differ in hip room, armholes, garment length and intended ease.

How much extra room should a kurta have?

It should close without pulling and allow easy breathing, sitting and arm movement. Compare garment measurements with a kurta that already fits comfortably.

What should I do if I am between kurta sizes?

Prioritise comfortable shoulders, chest and hips. Sleeve or body length is usually easier to alter than a kurta that is too tight.

Which kurta measurement is most important?

Shoulder, chest and hip measurements are usually the first checks, followed by sleeve and overall length.
