Give Claude sources, not just product names
Anthropic's web-search guidance describes source-linked web research and retrieval of supplied URLs when the feature is enabled. Access can depend on settings, connectivity and usage limits. Provide the exact product links; when a page cannot be opened, paste the relevant listing text and label where it came from.
Keep five source groups separate: product description, variant selector, size chart, delivery information and return policy. A general store policy may not answer every question about a particular variant. Ask Claude to mark a conflict rather than decide which statement must be true.
A simple evidence ledger for clothing purchases
